The U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701-B Ship from the movie Star Trek: Generations, is the Excelsior-class starship, the fourth to bear the name Enterprise. It was launched from its Federation spacedock in 2293, with Captains James T Kirk and Montgomery Scott and Commander Pavel Chekov in attendance. Far from mission-ready, the Enterprise-B had to respond to a distress call that put it in the path of a Nexus energy ribbon, which led to the loss of the legendary captain of the Enterprise NCC-1701.
